Born and raised on the beautiful Gold Coast, Australia, Kate Newham began her dance training at the young age of three. This is where her passion for dance, choreography, performing and tap dance began and continues to grow as she is now based in Los Angeles, CA! Kate’s stand out trait as a professional dancer comes from her exceptional, well-rounded training in ballet, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre, contemporary, tumbling, broadway, hip-hop, commercial jazz, vocal and of course tap, training under the prestigious former ‘Tap Dog’ Chis Horsey. After completing her diplomas in Musical Theatre & Commercial Dance, she then went onto complete many Professional dance contacts around the world for companies such as ‘Norwegian Cruise Line’, ‘Warner Brothers’, ‘CBS’, ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ and many more! Kate joined the Tap That team early 2017 and is honored to be part of such an inspiring and talented group. As she continues to create jaw-dropping Tap That produced music videos and content, Kate also teaches all over Los Angeles, all styles of dance from ages 3 years to professional industry dancers.
